Our Family

Carlos Maradiaga and Dora Vazques have three children, Karlita 12, Carlos 10 and Adrian 5 (ages as of fall of 2005). Dora is also a nurse and Carlos is studying Pharmacology. Harvest is a great opportunity for the whole family to work together and for the kids to learn at a young age about the agricultural side of coffee.

It has been a dream for Carlos and Dora for many years to someday have a discriminating coffee consumer enjoy the fruit of their labor as it has come at a great cost and sacrifice. Carlos has even invested time distributing samples of their coffee through out the northwest United States with out having officially exported a single bean. The 2006 Crop will be the first one made available in the United States. As a family that is committed to quality they are also interested in developing personal relationships with their customers.
